Does anything electrical work (radio, wipers, etc)?

Sorry guys literally posted and got called away!

Yes every auxiliary electrical component works.
Headlights are bright.
Tried to jump off with no difference.

Just treat it like a flat screen tv...put it on the curb and get a new one.

Perhaps the security feature is engaged due to poor connection to battery or because door was locked with key fob then opened from inside.

Car was unlocked and locked repeatedly with keyless.
Battery connections tight and no corrosion.

Maybe the starter relay. See the attached pic. I would pull relay 11 and replace it with the one in #4. You don't need the heater relay at this particular time. If that works, go get yourself another 30A relay to replace the empty #4.

Check the fuse box under the dash may have something to do with anti theft

Will try.
Pulled fuses that I thought would perhaps be in the starting system, and ok.
Do not remember if checked that one.

Try lightly tapping on the starter with a hammer to see if you can wake the hamster up.

Was going to do that, but it started raining. forgot!
Will try.
Had to start my first POS like this until I saved up enough for a starter.

you just don't want to be asked for pics

I don't have pics of the fiesta or my glock, but any internet search would show identical pics. I do have a selection of ammo; what's your favorite?

There is nothing "Feista" about a Ford Fiesta

Also try unhooking the negative on the battery for 20-30 minutes.... sometimes when you hook it back up the computers reset

Are the battery cables loose?
No shite, that's the first thing to check. Most electrics will still work, but won't have enough of a connection to operate the starter.

Probably your starter if there is a solenoid click, battery cables are clean and tight, and no crank with a jump start.

Did you check the fuses/relays in the engine compartment as well as the passenger compartment?

In that car - I've read about the Transmission Control Module being an issue. But this is a common problem among Ford Fiesta owners. My friends daughters car was doing it, and they replaced modules etc and even extended the warranty. If you tell the dealer or call Ford, there should be a pretty well documented number of these issues on record.

Sounds like DP6 Transmission control module issue. Call your local dealer to see if your car is under this TSB. Ford extended coverage on this issue to 150K or 10 years. (I'm Parts Mgr @ a Ford Dealer).
