Did you get equal amounts of buns and franks?

DDP sightings at Publix in Marietta and Ric Flair sightings at one in Tampa. Enough said.

My friend says Flair will straight up walk around their neighborhood Publix on the regular just trying to get noticed. DDP prob isn’t trying to get attention, but apparently exclusively wears DDPY gear now.

No and I immediately thought about Steve Martin and Father if the Bride and the superfluous hot dogs too.

There ought to be a damn law. Lol

See, I find Rouses higher. And Walmart, I just can’t do. I need to learn for their non-food items, which are cheaper I will agree. Winn Dixie is ok sticking to their sales and BOGOs and points for cash. And their brands don’t have HFCS, which is what I look for to avoid. Their cereal is good. But shopping shouldn’t be this difficult and a game. Just price fairly.

Walmart delivery for the win.

I've done it a few times, but it's my nearby Walmart employees doing the shopping/delivery so I haven't had the best of luck at all.

I used to do the pickup, but gave up when I was sitting in the parking lot a solid half hour each time waiting on the order.

I'm not feeding a family in my house, so prices aren't a huge factor within reason. I will say, though, that my nearest local store that used to be my go-to has gotten so out of control high that I'm better off ordering Whole Foods or Sprouts delivery, including delivery fees and tips. That's pathetic when that's the case.

Some people seem to consider it some sort of badge of honor to announce they'd never shop at Walmart. Enjoy paying 30% more for the same products I guess

Eh. Walmart was (rightfully) pretty universally shite on not all that long ago due to running local mom and pop stores out of most towns. This website included.

Now something has turned over the past few years and continuing to dislike Walmart is some bad opinion to have. I don't get it. There are very understandable reasons for someone to hate going to Walmart, *especially* in Baton Rouge with our general trashball population.

Visiting my nearest Walmart (which is a neighborhood one) was sending me home frustrated every single time I went. Sometimes full out angry due to some customer or employee bullshite I had to be around such as having nowhere to park because everyone's carts with trash and diapers were thrown around the parking lot.

I decided I was done and it was worth spending more to not come home wanting to kill every human being on the planet. I don't think that's back-patty. It's just prioritizing a pleasant experience.

Why would I need to move because of Walmart? I could just.. continue not going there.

LL you describe my Walmart thoughts perfectly. Mi guess it’s a character flaw because I can get mad and aggravated just by parking at Walmart. Before I even get it the door something usually happens to out my in a bad mood.
Probably half the time it’s people parked in front of the stores in the fire lanes waiting on someone else to shop while messing up traffic

We are the opposite. I started using them again when they offered the pickup and delivery. It saves us $200-300/mo.

We still get some things from other stores - produce stand, Fresh Market, Rouses, Costco etc. Those trips are mostly to grab a few things that we like to pick ourselves.

I was in a Rouses today, they had their fancy brioche hot dog buns 6 to a pack while most hot dog packs come in 8 or 10. I was reminded of my comment earlier with Steve Martin.

Then I came across this:

I think I will buy 2 half gallons instead of a full gallon. Also, public service announcement, make sure to check your dates and jugs, I just noticed when I was uploading this that one of the half gallons is missing some milk and expires today.

Exactly. It's totally a me-problem that I let it affect me so much, but I can't help it.

I occasionally have to go because the local stores don't sell the dog food I buy and WalMart is the only store with a couple of diet items I like. Last week when I went for an item, a very flamboyant black guy in line at self checkout lost his shite at a white baw who didn't see him and "skipped the line" (there were two lines - he didn't cut).

They're screaming back and forth across the self checkout lanes with the rest of us in the middle.

There's also the time a probably 250lb man approached me after dark when I parked and followed me through the parking lot and into the store, giving me his BS story about how he needed money.

This isn't exclusive to WalMart, but it is exclusive to stores with rough clientele, so I avoid them all. I avoid our local Albertson's for the same reason.
