This was easily one of the worst explainations I've seen.
But I honestly don't know why you care OP? I'm assuming you are buying the tile by the case? Just buy 75 sq ft or so and be done, 25 sq ft extra of tile is under $100.
As said, with smaller spaces like that you are going to need more overage than you normally would. More cuts on average than for larger spaces.
I wouldn't tile the ceiling either fwiw.

It's tile already but I'm tearing up a little above halfway up and going with different tile.
