He never landed with goods in the plane. They were jettisoned at many different places. I grew up with the guy who retreived them. I'd see him at 7:00 am and he'd be covered in mud an sweat and had been up all night. Made a GOOD living but pissed it away.

It was a Colombian death squad. 2 of them.
I was on a tour at David Wade prison years ago, and the guard pointed out one of them to us. He was housed in the protective custody unit where they keep cops, molester priests, and other high profile guys who may be targeted. I think they said the other one was there too, but not sure.
The little brown feller did not look mean at all. He was just sitting on a bench and looking harmless.
They said he came in speaking barely any English, but eventually became an inmate paralegal who helped other prisoners with their legal filings.

In his biography by Leo Honeycutt, EWE states he wasn't into drinking and that is why he was so quick with responses. He was always ahead of all the Louisiana drunks and always in control.
Kind of makes you think about not drinking...

Neither do I. No way Edwards didn't know and profit from it.

Strictly business with him. If you weren't his target, he was harmless to you
