Kid wouldn't stop touching the candy at the register in the gas station so she threatened to call the police and take him to jail.
Kid couldn't have been 4 years old. Poor dude, growing up fearing law enforcement because of the fricked up way his Mom is raising him.

How often do you think this happens?

Maybe the kid will learn not to touch things he doesn't plan to buy.

That is an irrational action on your part. As a good parent you don't threaten jail because your kid isn't listening to you.

I give my boys little complexes to frick with them. Him it's the cops my oldest son it's clowns. You have to have fun with them. They're gonna mess with your head might as well mess with theirs. Plus the cops should be feared, never had a cop give me my freedom or give me money.

Every time I would walk in a store in uniform. " Better be good or that police is gonna take you to jail"

Lot's of poor people do this. It's why their children grow up afraid of the police. It's not bad police; it's bad parents.

I can tell when my son spots a cop. He looks guilty as hell. He steadily looks forward and doesn't speak a word.

I told my kids that there was a giant owl outside that flew off with bad little kids. Now they hate all birds.

that's what got to me. You're instilling in an impressionable young mind that police are there to do you harm.

But having meetings trying to have police reform.

Nope, you're teaching them police are to be respected plus the gun , taser, handcuffs and big flash light puts fear into them anyway

I would encourage her to call them so I could watch their reactions upon arrival.
