MS/LA State line bridge westbound will be one lane until July 21st for repairs from a wreck. When I was going eastbound to Bay St Louis after work yesterday the traffic on 10 was backed up 13 miles and the traffic on the Stennis exit was backed up 2 miles just to get on 10. It's going to be an absolute disaster on the weekends that will probably add 1-2 hours minimum to your drive if you aren't doing it early in the morning or late at night. There was no traffic at 6am this morning when I went to NOLA but traffic ap says it's already half way to the Bay St Louis exit right now.

Looks like it's the Jackson, MS route to Orange Beach for Shreveport/Dallas OT'rs for the next few weeks.

That probably explains the mess on 607 northbound yesterday. Line from the 59 interchange all the way back to Hancock County.

Take Highway 90. Make sure to veer left a little past Bayside Park and the casino or you'll get dumped back onto I-10.

90 is slower with the lower speed limit and the lights but still faster than the mess they have now. You can take 433 or 190 to get back to the interstate in Slidell.

***nvm, at best you can take 90 to 607 to exit 2 and avoid some of it.

I thought Hwy 90 westbound (just after Pearlington) was closed. It is showing it closed on Google Maps.

Yikes! When did that happen?

I took that detour last time I-10 was one lane at the state line.

Driving back from Disney yesterday, Waze saved my arse. I think we were an hour out from the state line when the wreck happened. Arrival time jumped 3+ hours until waze rerouted me.
