Just an FYI, a roll of twenty fives with a rubberband wrapped around them is not a "pocket full of money" in Las Vegas.

Ironically, last time i went to Vegas, i saw Pete Rose signing autographs at some sport shop, i think at the Luxor. He looked pathetic.

Pete recently opened a restaurant in Vegas. I think it's in the Harmon area.

Landed last night late. Picked up the car and met up with my friend.
Went to eat at DJK Korean BBQ. Entering the place, I notice a sign that says:
Local Discount 10%
Military discount 10%
Police discount 10%
Firefighter Discount 10%
Teacher discount 10%
My buddy whips out his military card for the 10% discount. The host/waitress friendly saluted him before showing us to our table. What a woman!
While walking to our table I was wonder if an ex-military, ex-firefighter, and former police office who's now a teacher living here would get 50% discount. That would be awsome deal.
We order some stuff (will post pics later) and the host/waitress starts cooking our food at the table's grill. I told her she's "good wife material", but her English is limited and she did not understand. Well, who needs communication when a woman is cooking your meal and bringing you beer?
I get to hotel and check in. I was wearing an LSU shirt. As walking to the elevator, some random guy yells "L-S-U". I gave him a eye contact and a fist pump.
I get in the room, plan to take a 40 minute nap, and play one of those silly poker tournaments. 40 minute nap turns into 6 hours. Damn I'm getting old.
So no gambling 1st day. No sure what's the plan today. Maybe lay by the pool then hitting the tables later.

Do yourself a huge favor and buy a return ticket now.
Put $100 on LSU to win it all in football. The odds paid 16 to 1 when I was there two months ago and you can redeem winnings by mail,
Leave half of the money at home so you don't return broke.

Venetian doesn't have lsu baseball future lines. They do have LSU football to win it all. Tempting but I don't trust miles.
