Yes .. Catching one hawk in a Costco clearly = procuring the expenses of running an entire flagship university .. Great comparison !

I usually wait until they relocate the Hawk to Big Lots because then the price drops 50%.

Screw hawks. All they do is prey on weak, defenseless birds.

It's called a comparison. Both organizations are non profit. Both charge a lot for services rendered. See how that works now dumb dumb?

A $700 offer from a "non profit" group ? Get the hawk out of there for free if you really genuinely care that much and aren't doing it for money ..

My wife and I rescued a Great Black-Backed Gull this weekend. Beautiful bird with a broken wing, helpless on the beach at our condo. I helped to corner and net the poor guy... now he's doing great, following the caretaker all over her house squawking for food!

You'd be surprised at what organizations are "non-profit".

BTW, vet care for birds of prey isn't exactly free of charge.

One time at like 8am on a Sunday some woman knocks on my front door and tells me there's an injured owl in my front landscaping and that I need to rescue it.

I told her she was more than welcome to help it but I'm going inside. She left. Big humanitarian she was...
