Seems as though they'll know whether a tsunami exists based on other islands between Hawaii and the Solomon Islands, no?

My grandfather fought in the Solomon Islands (Guadalcanal) as a Marine. He spent 3 weeks on Bougainville 3 weeks Charles Lindbergh on aviation communication equipment.

Amazing life.

Also, the Solomon Islands aren't in that image...fwiw.

They're further south, southeast of Papua New Guinea

That's going to be an amazing photo opportunity if the Pearl Harbor drains out in advance of a tsunami. Silver lining of course, hope no one gets hurt.

Looks like it's already been cancelled when you click your link.

Yeah they did a ninja update. It was an 8.0 before they revised it down and canceled the watch.

I think he was but I'm not positive. That would have to be something I would ask my father.
