Wife and I had our kid young. He's now 2.5 years from graduating high school. We're really enjoying still being young enough to go out and enjoy life. One benefit of sacrificing our 20s to start a family.

It was fairly high risk but they said it's not uncommon. Actually, the older you are, the higher your chances of having multiples.

Always wanted two more. Wife said she's done and to take it up with the girl friend.
As I was typing this she read it and I got the dreaded eye-roll

That is what we did, oldest is 17 senior in h.s, youngest is 14 freshman. Wife had her tubes tied 13 years ago and has been talking to an OBGYN about having a reversal done..

I agree. At 45 our baby will be 18 and our house will be paid off. Hello retirement.

That's a good plan. Not the one I did however. I'm on the slower bus.

It's the thing now to not have kids until you're older. So many 40year olds walking their kids into kindergarten. Good for them. I'm too tired for all that.

True. I'm just about to get to the point I can rest and rejuvenate and I can't wait.

Twins!
Our son is a senior and 17 (actually tomorrow is his 18th birthday) and our daughter is a freshman and 14.
The THOUGHT of getting pregnant at 44? Makes me want to weep.
And fooling with a newborn? And then a toddler? No fricking thanks!
I'll just wait 6-9 years and let my son make me a grandma.
You can send grandchildren away.

I have a first cousin who has four kids. When she was 43, her first child was a Freshman at Clemson, that same year she learned she was pregnant. It was something she struggled with at first, it just wasn't in the plans. I would think that if it wasn't in the plans they would take appropriate steps for it not to happen. Maybe they thought they were safe for whatever reason, but she will be in her early 60s by the time the last kid is old enough to move out.

Too bad your Jort wearing parents didn't think this same thought and let you drip out of her mouth instead of her vagina.

I couldn't imagine unless a new wife who is at least 18 years younger to go along with it.

Yes, 2 in college, 1 in high school, 1 in diapers and 1 soon to follow. Loving life though.
