Fly there and drive back.

Or rent a trailer when you get there.

I just want to see what people have to say about this.

When it gets really cold outside should you park your vehicle as close to your house as possible?

Jfc can they just ban you and get it over with?

I used Moverjet last month to ship a car 700 miles. It cost $600 total between upfront and delivery payments.

That seems closer to right. I was hauling cars from Birmingham to Dallas and back 10 years ago, for an average around $475 each.

I just paid $1200 to have one shipped almost exactly 600 mi originating out of St. Louis. To my door delivery, two car enclosed trailer. Driver was a pro - the dealer in STL arranged the deal, so I might have paid a premium, but it was close to what I expected for this brand of car. Picked up New Years' Eve and delivered New years' Day.

Three years ago, had same brand of car shipped to me from So. Cal. via Plycar in one of their multilevel enclosed semi trailers. Again a total pro delivery, that was $1600 in 2020.

I've paid considerably less for non-enclosed transports in the past on less expensive cars.

Uship has scammers on there misrepresenting what capabilities they have, just beware that not everyone is good.

I agree with this. Have to read the reviews.

Who have you used?

Just checked them out. They have some of the worst reviews I've ever seen. They sound like a bubch of brokers who make false promises.

I know things happen in the transportation business, but they seem very untrustworthy.

Did it twice.
10 years ago open trailer from Los Angeles to south Louisiana, $800.

2 months ago enclosed trailer from Seattle to south Louisiana, $2100. I would have done open if it wasn't winter (was concerned about hail). Didn't want to pay that much but the company that ended up taking the job had nice trucks and handled a lot of expensive cars (mine wasn't expensive though).

Both times I went through a broker like Montway and received emails and texts for like a month after the car was shipped.
