Tooth brushing is mostly about keeping your gums clean as bacteria will eat away at your gums. Also depends on the PH and bacterial balance in your mouth; some conditions are more likely to cause a cavity where others are more likely to cause erosion of your gum line. Your theory is all sorts of wrong because you are only testing one half of the equation.

soo, that's pretty grody, but I do have a question I was wondering about the other night. If you brush and floss every night before bed, is there any other reason to brush in the morning except for the bad breath? what are you brushing away if you haven't eaten or drank anyhing? Assuming you haven't eaten breakfast, since I usually grab something on the way out or at the office.
