No doubt. A family friend was a cop and would tell stories about going to 'hot spots' on slow nights to bust people banging in cars. I don't think he ever arrested anyone but just messed with them.

My dad was cool as shite. I was banging this girl when I was a sophomore in high school that lived down the street. I was sneaking in late one night and got caught. Dad said as long as I was using protection and making it to school on time just to use the front door instead of sneaking. He also didn’t care if I drank as long as I didn’t drive.

He was surprisingly draconian on pot though. He rained hell down on me when he caught me. It was weird.

Man y’all are lucky. I couldn’t do shite. My old man was very strict. I understand now after realizing his upbringing.
