This was here last week.

Good luck getting anything from this crowd except blaming minorities for all Louisiana’s problems.

ETA: not that I have all the answers or agree with every thing on that video. Just going off of the reaction last week.

Well, it is easier than having to actually examine the problem. Why is our pay rate lower than even other Southern states? Blame the blacks, followed by our terrible education system.

Why can't we lure business like Mississippi did with Nissan and Toyota, etc. It's because of the blacks and our terrible education system.....funny, demographically and education rank MS is not much better than LA

We conservatives will never admit that our politicians do just as many stupid things as the Democrats....sometimes , maybe more.....see Jindal, Landry and our current legislature.

A lot of minorities and white trash. Both of which are very poor. Politicians that give entirely too many tax breaks for industrial purposes. Plain and simple. La is the same shite hole it’s always been.

How does the state lose revenue that it was never going to get?

Either they give tax incentives to companies to invest here or they don’t invest here. Either way that tax revenue isn’t coming.

You can trace all of Louisiana's problems to corruption. We actually believe that we can get rich by stealing from each other.

They seem to be missing the obvious here

It doesn't take 3,000 people to run a chemical plant or natural gas plant

There are a lot of jobs up front to construct one of those things but they're sophisticated automated systems that don't require massive manpower to sustain.

Yeah definitely not 3kbut you need to factor in the support structure needed to sustain these facilities.

Stop with ITEP, and you will know poor. When the BASFs and Exxons have a more economical choice in front of them instead of LA... bad news bears.

At least their minorities are hard workers. Ours are just a big financial burden.
