I have been deployed as a contractor in Iraq and Afghanistan for almost a decade now. Money is killer and love not paying taxes on the first ~$100,000.00 I make each year.
Seriously thinking of retiring in Romania.
Beautiful country and gorgeous women everywhere. They are technically part of the EU, but only use the Euro there for large scale purchases like houses and cars. Otherwise they use their own currency. $1.00 US is 3.75 Romanian Leu.

Have you actually been there? It's one of the top 5 Shitholes I have ever been to. It's overcrowded, dirt poor, the government is corrupt, the drug problem is out of control, and the food sucks. It's one of the few cuisines in the world where you can say that their food is better once you leave the home country.
Yeah I have. Many times. Get out of the poor section and stay in the nice areas. I can’t help it you hang out in the ghetto. Manila sucks like all big cities. You obviously haven’t spent much time there

I’ve yet to travel to the Philippines but will be heading that direction within the next year for a week or so. What was your favorite spot while visiting?

I can’t wait to retire to my place in Sulphur, I’ll spend my summers up here in Nova Scotia and my fall and winter in Louisiana! So free healthcare and great fully funded pension plus cheap liquor and great food-Louisiana football during the fall and hopefully into January...

Boracay - stay in Station 1 or 2. Beautiful beaches. Good restaurants and night life
Palawan- less nightlife. Great beaches more relaxed
Bohol- chocolate hills and great scuba diving.
Anywhere in Cebu
Just spend as little time as possible in Manila. It’s boring and crowded and nothing of interest.

How is Puka Beach on Boracay? That beach seemed less crowded and more my style from my little research

Also, is El Nido the spot to hit in Palawan? I’m hoping to hit at least one place in Palawan, Boracay and will also be visiting Lipa. I don’t want to cram in so much that I can’t enjoy each place.

My wife and I are talking about a trip to Nova Scotia to see our families old homeland. Is it worth the trip? If so, any must sees? The areas we came from were Beau Pre, Beau Basin, and area. Any remnants of old Acadia? Did the British remove all traces? Thanks.

Puka is known for the seashells. It’s also very nice. Sand is incredible in Boracay. El Nido is the best place for your first visit to Palawan. Don’t know much about Lipa.

Canada is my first choice, but pretty much anywhere would do.

Stupid reply. I did 7 weeks training a staff. The whole place is a dump with a few gems for tourists. Cebu sucks big balls, and is no fun at any point in the day and it's the damn tech capital. Oh, and the pirates/rebels/and Muslims sure are fun
