What are the steps to get certified? I’ve already picked up the form from the Clerk of Court, but is there anything else to do? I’ve heard of an online class, but is that necessary?

My wife just became a certified officiant.
I know she did some shite online then filed the notarized paperwork downtown.

Get ordained at the church of dudeism. From the Big Lebowski. It qualifies you to marry people in LA.

I have, I had to become ordained find it online, filled out a form and paid a fee. Forgot the url... Cost 20 bucks, I think. Then, go to clerk of court, bring your certification of ordainment, register in their log, pay a fee. Bing, bang, boom, your mother's your uncle.

I got certified in less than five minutes online. Answer a few questions, pay fiddy bucks, print out your certificate and boom! You're a pastor of the Luciferian Church of Really Bad Vibes.

Never done one, but I've got a cool story about an unusual guy that performed a ceremony that I attended. The guy had a wooden, peg, leg.
