Have you ever known an actual surrogate mother?

I have a friend who is acting as a surrogate for a friend of hers. She already has 4 kids, so she knew full well what she was getting into. She is the first person I've ever known to act as surrogate. Have you ever known a surrogate?

Some of the issues that immediately came to mind when I found out:

What if she wants to keep the baby?
How can insurance pay for such an act?
She is military, does the baby get gi bill benefits?
Does she have the legal right to an abortion?

What a crazy mess a surrogate could turn into in the right hands.

Breesus, 1) how many times have said you fricked my mom? (like a couple of dozen) 2) I'm not sure how to interpret your statement. Because you are a white trash POS, I'm not sure how your uneducated mind comprehends the word surrogate. Because you are creud, I assume you are using surrogate as an euphemism for an orifice, but hell, you may think it is an automobile.

There is typically a contract that spells all this out.

Most insurance doesn't. I had a friend looking to go this route and they were going to pay out of pocket. But, check the policy or call the company and see what they cover.

She would need to check with military and see their stance. I would assume that once the baby is born all parental rights transfer to the parents and the surrogate has no parental rights.

I'm actually surprised the military allowed her to do this.

So you are either my mom, or you like to watch Breesus shag old ladies. And don't say you fricked her too, because you said you were just there.

I think the answer here is pretty obvious. Who doesn't like watching Breesus frick old women?

Hum... I had a work colleague that donated sperm to his brother/sister-in-law (they used a doctor before you ask) because his brother was sterile. I always thought that was a little odd.

Why would she qualify for GI Bill? Ppl who do 4 years can't transfer benefits, and benefits are only 36 months. The person who is entitled to GI Bill benefits could give this child 1 month on the benefits and if it is not used by others than they would have 36 months. Also it wouldn't be the MGIB it would be post 9/11 that would benefit someone.

TLDR; no dependant is ever 100% entitled to VA Education Benefits.
