yep...I always feel sorry for them and will stop if it is safe....

saw an alligator crossing a few days back, but he was on his own...

All the time. I once stopped when I was about 8 months pregnant, and a sweet old couple stopped to help ME thinking I was in labor or something.

No but I waited for about 10 minutes last week for over 100 ducks and geese with tons of babies to cross the road by Nurses house the other morning.

Yes and he pissed everywhere when I tried to pick him up. I let him finish and then moved him out of the road. Unfortunately, I passed later that same day and he was roadkill.

Yes. Just did it a couple of weeks ago. I also got my neighbor's cows off of the road last month. He is a dentist, so he owes me a free filling or at least the hook up with some laughing gas.
