I had an idea once. It was called a jump to conclusions mat. See it was this mat with conclusions written on it that you could jump to.

37 year abs. I’m almost finished my QA testing and the results have been horrendous. Don’t think I’m gonna move forward with the idea.

No, but a dude I knew from Bunkie, La who told me years ago that he invented this thing for ceiling fans that makes it easier to put them up or switch them out.
By the way he described it, instead of having to do all the wiring, you would be able to just slide and snap it in. It would be wired and connect to this port that on your ceiling and it would connect and that's it. He told me he had a lawyer doing the patent part and that GE was interested, but it would have to be universal so it would work on all ceiling fans.
Like I said, this was years ago and I have yet to see it become a thing.

Doritos flavored taco shells. I called Frito Lay's customer service number probably '95 or '96 to tell them about my great idea and they were very dismissive. Fifteen or so years of development later, they partnered with Taco Bell.

I dreamed as a kid of having a tiny truck to fit on atv trails. Now you got polaris and john deere with air conditioned cabs. If only honda would have answered my letters. They probably couldnt read English in the 80s

Auto car jacks that are built in to all four corners of a car. Actually I thought of that just now.

I contacted Chuck E Cheese about getting a franchise for a store in Houma years ago before MLK became the traffic nightmare it is now. They weren't interested. No less than a year after I contacted them the store on MLK opened.

Also use to say all the time someone needed to open a Chick-fil-A outside the malls. This was probably about 10 years before we got the one on vets.

Once had an idea for an LSU themed message board that would have different pages for different topics....but scraped the idea because I figured it would never work.
