Just once, in the 90s. I was forced to attend anger management or some such bullshite training before I could go back.

Not yet (fingers crossed).

It’s super rare where I work. Only thing close I remember was when an employee basically verbally accosted a brand new VP because she was unhappy about her raise (which was the same as everyone else in the same fairly large department). New VP gets introduced and she goes after him right after he steps off the stage.

Another employee was close (he got super drunk at a conference and a little too loudly made fun of multiple clients who were in attendance). I was sitting next to him and got called in by management as the closest witness. I was pretty new and didn’t know what they wanted from me, plus I liked the guy so I said I didn’t hear anything offensive (I don’t think it’s technically offensive so long as it’s really funny and he was nailing it).

I was given time off when a pt accused me of punching him and knocking his teeth out. He came in from an OD. Meth mouth MFer most of the teeth that were left were hanging by a thread. Had to take time off till the hospital investigated which they then turned over to the state to be investigated again.
I was not the only person he accused of something.
Spewed accusations all over all the time. Took several weeks with pay. The way the whole thing was dealt with from the beginning was as if I was guilty from the start. I was pretty pissed off and I couldn’t do anything about it.
In hindsight, I should have just taken a vacation and forgot about it but when your job and career are on the line, it’s not that easy
The state came back finding nothing.
A quick google of the patient found many arrests for assault, drug possession etc. etc. I know, shocking.
