That story was insane.

And the amount of money people spent on it. It has been awhile since I watched it, but then mentioned something about how there were some kids who were spending a lot of money on.. Maybe upgrading their tickets, etc.. I just remember thinking "where the frick are these kids getting that much money to just freely spend on that shite?".

When I say kids, I am talking about 18-21 year olds. They either spend every nickel they have to their name or their parents hand them money hand over fist..

As much as I hate the celebrity influencer contingent and the shitty things they sell, there is a far more practical group that I admit to being influenced by. I don't really think of them as influencers, but I imagine they are.

Stuff like camera and gun and bag reviewers who have amusing personalities and make it entertaining to watch a 15 minute video about the pros/cons of some pistol or backpack, etc. Or local influencers who take good photos of new bars.

I'm "influenced" by reviews and photographs explaining features and stuff, not because ___________ (some influencer) wears ___________ (some brand).
