Been twice....for trespassing. Spent the night after being arrested. Didn't go to court and had a warrant and spent 38 hours in county for it.
Haven't been since and never plan on going on back. This was 17 years ago.

Yes, 5 or 6 times for random stuff. Longest was 15 days. No prison obviously, only STP, EBRPP, and OPP
I have seizures, and for the 15 day one, they wouldn't give me my meds, so I had about a seizure every day. They still refused to give me my meds. It was rough to say the least

Yes, as a prosecutor.
The jail in Jackson, MS is truly a shithole and I felt I needed to be scrubbed Silkwood style after I left my only time to visit when I was an intern at the US Attorney's office.
The jail in Cobb County GA is not bad at all as far as jails go. It is like a warehouse for people. Pretty clean.
The federal prison in south Atlanta is pretty scary. It looks like an evil fortress inside and out. Very dark and foreboding.

Once. Orange beach Alabama. I was 18, my 2 friends were both 17. We got pulled over for speeding, cop smelled the beer I was drinking and the one the guy in the back seat was drinking. He pulled the driver out and he blew a 0. Then he said if we handed over the booze we wouldn't go to jail. Thought it was hidden good, he found every beer when he searched the truck. I spent the night and had to pay fines. They got to go home with no charges except my friends truck was impounded.

I'm Mexican so it really wasn't that bad.

Got kicked out of the Inferno Club in Columbus, GA. in 1982 for shooting spitballs at the strippers after a Morgana show. Walking out the door with one of their highball glasses and they told me to give it back, so I spiked it on a dumpster and gave the bouncers the old double birds. The requisite "cops sitting in the parking lot waiting for Auburn dumbasses to frick up" saw it all. PD and littering cost me 200 bucks.

I'm fresh out the pen. Who wants an exhibition fight?

did you learn lesson about trusting cops and standing up for your rights?

Prison, no. Almost a year in juvie plus boot camp. Jail several times from 18-20. I straightened out, and haven't had so much as a traffic ticket in 15 years.

28 days in St Slammany.
Worst experience of my life.
Spent a week on a concrete floor without a pillow before being processed to general pop.

I had 3 days in Mat-Su pretrial, one day in 6th avenue Prison in Anchorage, the rest in a halfway house.
6th avenue may have been the worst prison in the US. It was godawful, old, rusty and depressing. Like something out of a 1930's scene. I convinced the psychiatrist that it wasn't in my best interest to stay there and got moved to a halfway house.
Also spent a day in jail in Arcadia, LA years ago.
