Nope. I have a judgmental grand mother. It’s also at a country club.

I'm being slightly exaggerative but I'm pretty sure guys wore collars to cut the grass or go fishing back then. It's just a vastly different society now. Not saying it's better, but the comparison is just silly at this point.

And I'm happy to live in a society that allows for more casual dress in regular circumstances.

It’s because nobody respects thanksgiving anymore. It’s a disgrace what is happening to this country

Don't think many in that pic are dressed particularly nicely. It's cold and they are wearing coats.

Seriously, I am not going to wear some uncomfortable coat to football game just because it’s all my grandfathers generation had

No they’ve completely given up on dressing
Nice (or at least appropriately) for any occasions.

See air travel, mass (holiday or weekly), funerals, awards banquets, graduations, grocery shopping, restaurants, etc.

Coincidentally, they’ve also given up on appropriate behavior and any sense of decorum.
Y’all are so miserable on here lol.

Eh.... it's a meal at families house. Would be nice to stop seeing people wearing jeans at weddings though

I wore a button down shirt, my favorite pair of Momotaro 1947 jeans and a Barbour Beaufort jacket. My wife and kids dressed very similarly, casual and comfortable.
