The way I read it is that he has no idea who Alexa is - I barely remember her because I was a ranter and didn't really start coming over to the OT in late 2011/early 2012 (IIRC).

Longevity
legends have built up around them. Who and what they have really done is only part of the reputation. Its like Jake is a unicorn and Peej is bigfoot ( only its bigdick)
Neither of them have ever taken it too far. ie going off-board and into people real lives (IMO thats the only REAL violation)
And a good sense of humor about themselves sets the right tone
