I think it's just depression

They're similar, but they are distinct

The neurosurgeon I used to work for usually wouldn't take patients who "had" it

Because it's a waste of the neurosurgeon's time, and it is essentially out of his field of work. Doesn't discount it from existing. That's about like saying that the same neurosurgeon wouldn't take patients who "had" ADD.

I don't usually get side effects except for mania from anti depressants. And that's guaranteed

Isn't that exactly what depressed, sleep deprived, and attention deficient patients are? Those who never recover?

And abuse it is. No different than a meth head or some coke junkie. That Rx doesn't make you any less addicted. It does, however, make you sound like a complete tool.

Yes, I may abuse alprazolam without having to buy it off the street too, but all of my other medications are taken therapeutically for professionally diagnosed conditions.

I'm surprised the OP was prescribed multiple antidepressants to be taken all together in combination.

Southern Farmer, have you had any nearly fatal reactions to any of the meds? You may want to consult a new physician to get a second opinion about some of the combinations you're currently on. Also, have you checked any online drug interactions for some of those meds?

Seriously doubt that. You complain, she shuts you up with whatever new med you want. You really need to see a different psychiatrist, one who will tell you the truth and not provide you with some new diagnosis you read the criterion for.

You have no concept on what you're doing to your body. Organ damage is nothing to play around with.

Common.

No bad reactions and everything checks out on the interactions, but I'm sure there is some sort of enzyme effecting the clearance of something or that type of thing going on when you're dealing with this many medications.
