Let's take a look at your most recognizeable posters on the OT today.
1. OweO - known for making tons and tons of pointless threads.
2. El Guacho - comes drop one liners, that usually aren't funny into threads, and adds nothing else.
3. David the Knome - brings his favorite Reddit threads over to the OT.
4. TulaneLSU - thinks the OT cares what his favorite Christmas decorations at every store are.
Not one of these people are known for good posting, yet they are the new faces of the OT. Compare that to some of the more popular OT names, and it's easy to understand why it's not the same. shite, Kige is mocked on this board now. I've even seen admins remove one of his video threads. Kige is a damn legend, that this board no longer appreciates.
If old posters would try to "Make The OT Great Again" you would see some quick bannings. The posters on here would not be able to handle it. The downvote and RA button would be abused until a Jr Admin would come clear out the old trash.
