There is a difference between pet sitting for trips and daycare because Fido can't ever be alone.

The dog would certainly be just fine not going 2 times per week and it's not necessary, there's also nothing at all wrong with letting the dog socialize with other dogs a couple of times per week.
This is a non story, you're overthinking it.

Your "buddy" needs a girlfriend and get a load off his mind. This dog obsession these days is pathetic.
Dogs are a good thing.
But my God, I don't know how we as a society have gotten to this point, left right male female old young, everyone treats dogs like the ancient Egyptians treated cats.

I never use a dog daycare in town. I have one in Little Rock I use because they board too and I go there for work quite a bit.
But at home she’s fine at the house. If you crate train them properly when they’re young, it shouldn’t be an issue, even if they’re older and trusted with having access to the whole house.
Seems like daily dog day care is a recipe for losing a lot of money and guaranteeing a bad case of separation anxiety in the dog when they have to stay home alone, which means they’ll probably wreck shite.

And no one brought emotional support donkeys on an airplane.
While the smell isn’t great, the in-flight donkey shows have been a plus.

Mine just died of cancer at seven years old.
Call me crazy dog person and maybe I am but nothing is too far out of bounds for man's best friend.
