No, I don’t let the political opinions of players affect the team I root for.

Because all of the players support your political opinions and those who don’t have been silenced or cancelled. Nice try.

I got sick of football 3 years ago. The politicization played a big part. I’ve found that fishing and bowling is better use of my time.

Has anyone else ever picked a new team because of some controversy you couldn’t defend?

No my interest in the NFL was on the decline since Bountygate. All this hoopla over a simple opinion just shows how The Saints are pathetic. Got news for them. When Drew leaves they will be relegated back to the old days of losing. Watching recievers and tight ends leave after making noise for the Saints then practically disappear shows how bad its going to get.

I think I’m done. I’m a huge football fan and usually don’t let politics get in the way. But this is a bridge too far. Crucify the best thing that’s happened to the city of NO and then to watch him cave and make a cringy video apology. I attend several games a year and all home playoff games, but I think I’m done with the Saints. Not sure if I will find a new team.
