Police messed it up in 2015. Course was measured correctly. I'm already helping them for 2016 so it'll be 3.1 this December

Nothing like coming around the corner full speed and saying, where the hell is the finish line. Oh you have to run another quarter mile gassed out

You can't waive Gross Negligence. So there's always that.

I ran a summer marathon that promised $100,000 if somebody broke the World Record. Cops made a wrong turn and shorted the course. Guess what!

Better call Saul!

Yeah. 2014 it was measured incorrectly. 2015 was correctly measured but cops insisted they knew the route...and didn't.

a charity 5k/10k for this summer.

Is there somewhat a season for having 5ks? Around here in Alabama, it's so hot in the summer, 5k races are sparse and lowly attended.

If your going to have it during the summer, the earlier the start the better.
Let me know when it is. Not very many races in the summer so I'd be willing to try it out.

Fall is hard in the south because football.

As long as summer races are at 8am or earlier or at night/evening the turnout is good.

This time of year is big for the races in the south.

Fall would be best, but football does prevent turnout.
But with summer, even with an early start, it's not easy to train for them.
