Spent some time in a suite next to him at the Royal Sonesta one Mardi Gras. The guy was completely out of control snorting lines of coke the size of a ruler.
That may have been me instead of John.

I heard he lived by me in the lower garden district. Saw him at Mojo's once and he paid for my next door neighbors coffee that morning.

I met him twice. We spoke for 5-10 minutes each time. He was very nice.

True story about John Goodman. I was shooting basketball in my grandparent's driveway when I was twelve.
A fat guy, drunk as a skunk, rolls up next to me on a bike clearly out of it and drooling. It was none other than John Goodman. He just sat there and stared at me for a few seconds and rolled off.
I thought I was insane until I discovered he had family close by. Apparently he dropped by for a visit, got hammered, went for a bike ride, stared at a twelve year old, and went back.

Not met him, but years ago was on a small plane with him. The flight attendants all said he was nice.
