We have power on for 30, off for 45 through tomorrow. Started off as out for 15 minutes per hour and outage times just keep increasing.

Once power goes out in a situation like this with ice, how long does it normally take to come back on?

My daughter has 4 kids under 8 and the heating unit quit working during the night. Can’t get anyone out to look at it. Butcher and Lee’s in Lafayette said maybe Wednesday.

Power went out at 2 this morning in Houston. Came on for about 20 minutes an hour ago. Off again. Tnmp says it'll be rolling outages, but that doesn't seem to be happening. Hearing rumors that there won't be power until this weekend.

really??? all good here on west approach

It was north side between Monroe and 190. It only affected about 10 blocks. I was told it was weather related. My power was only out for 52 minutes.

Jefferson Terrace/Inniswold here- still have power , internet out around 9am. My house is a toasty 68 and I just had a bowl of gumbo. Also threw my sweat pants clothes in the dryer and put them on. Very nice. Every hour we keep power is gravy. I have some huge trees so I’m keeping an eye on them.

I'm in Jefferson Terrace and lost power at 7:30 am. I'm typing with gloves on. It's 61 degrees inside. I'm bundled up and warm for the time being.
