Either completing tasks or hiring someone to complete tasks. I only heard about it recently but it seems pretty cool. Basically you can hire John Q. Public to do random tasks for you.

Some of the services are:
- Furniture Assembly
- TV Mounting
- Yard Work
- Help Moving
- Painting
- Hang Pictures
- Virtual & Online Tasks

I guess the major snag is who wants a stranger coming to their house to do random shite, but I guess it would be good for a single woman or elderly person (provided the person was trustworthy).

I live about 30 minutes outside of Nashville so I'd have to go into the city to do it, but I'd be all about assembling furniture for people. I love doing that shite for some reason.

I'd imagine there's some sort of background check or vetting if you sign up. Just curious.

"Sexual Services" are not listed, but I'd imagine that falls under the "Handyman" category.

All of these services, taskrabbit thumbtack Angie, they are all complete bullshite for the contractor/task performer. I've never done taskrabbit but I know the pay is very low. The other two, you have to pay for leads and most of them are BS. Stay away from these apps!!!

I just used it on Saturday. Needed some yard work done. Guy came over and did a great job for only $21 an hour and he provided his own mower, blower, tools, etc.

I joined as a Tasker when I was in between jobs a few years ago. It would take a TON of effort to build yourself up to make it a career or even a viable side hustle. I did general handy work like hanging mirrors and stuff, and also did some stuff as a private chef because I have some skill there. It was easy, fun at times, and helped me keep a sense of purpose and accomplishment until I landed my next career job.

Used a guy and his son to put together a bedroom suite for my mom. Great people and worked super fast.

Not sure about the other guy who paid by the hour, this was paid by the job.

Highly recommend

Thanks Was curious about the rates and quality of work. Seems like it would also be good if you’re out of town and need a one-time yard work deal.. not signing a contract or anything.

Here's your task rabbit, for those times when you just aren't up for the task.
