Don't know him, but do know when Jay Johnson wants a player and needs the $ to make it happen, Graves cuts a check. He may have gone to UGA for undergrad, but any talk of him not supporting LSU is BS.

Always interesting to me that he went to UGA for undergrad but his loyalty is with LSU. Pretty rare that it happens that way, it's not like UGA is SLU or Nicholls, etc.

Awesome guy. He’d give you a million dollars if you just asked him for it. Trust me I did.

Ok , yeah, I remember him from the neighborhood. I knew Alicia a lot better and was older than her at Trafton-she was sweet and beautiful. We played basketball on a little court in Camelot, and I remember little Todd hanging out back there. He was probably 11-12 as I remember him. A nice friendly kid-a nice family. We used to cut near where I believed they lived to get to the back of Woodland Ridge-and even if you knew how to do it through pasture and over a dry creek to Stumburg where we had -believe it or not-a deer stand and a campsite.

You probably know Stephen Gardner? He lived in Woodland Ridge and I went to elementary school with him and believe he did one year at Southeast Middle before transferring to Trafton(class of '88). He was one of my best friends growing up. Played BREC football and American Legion baseball with him for years...drifted apart when he left for Trafton. Was shocked when I found out he had passed away last year...only 53 years old.

I worked at Cane's 8 (Mall of LA) from around '00 - '03. When I started working there, that was the newest of the stores. He came in several times, and was a really nice guy. Jumped in several times to help with any rush going on. He'd have holiday parties at his house for all of the employees from the different stores. His wife was also very nice.

His brother in law though...big douche bag. Any time he came in, it was a long, miserable day.

Thinking back on Todd coming in and having manager's meetings in the food court is pretty cool. Of course now, I wish I would have stayed slinging chicken tenders a few more years.

Yeah, I was friends with his gorgeous sister Vicky (RIP). My friend Tim who is an exceptional professional touring musician (Sheryl Crow-Noel Gallagher etc) lived two houses down from the Gardners. I was ahead of you at Trafton.

Dude is probably going to triple that net worth in the next 5 years. Never met him though. I've always heard he is a good guy.
