Has anyone here ever been shot?

What does it feel like? Friend of mine seems to think it doesn't hurt at all because of shock, nerve endings burning. I call bullshite. I think it hurts/burns like hell.

I was shot in the knee cap when I was 8 by my cousin.

My two friends who survived shots in the back said it hurt like a motherfricker. Burns and like a muscle being torn well because it is torn.

Only peppered by shotgun while playing golf. It was from squirrel hunter from pretty far off. Felt like hard rain

Really didn't hurt all that much because of the adrenaline I guess. Days after surgery and everything was a drag though

Wasn't really that bad once your adrenaline start flowing... The blood scared the shite out of me but didn't feel much... Flesh wound.
Having a 7.62 or 7.92 round come through a door and roof of a car you are riding in will make you shite yourself. Sounded like we had just got in a bad wreck with how loud it is.

Caught a shotgun pellet in the back of my head rabbit hunting, hurt like hell. A buddy got sprayed by a shotgun quail hunting, I saw his X-rays and they were pretty freaky. The surgeons left a lot of pellets in his face for fear of more damage trying to pick them out.

Seriously not sure what the deal was... It's still a matter of contention between a couple buddies who all put blame on the other... May even have been Miss identification.... Friend at one point tried to get me to pay for damages to his SUV due to him saying they were shooting at me since most of the bullets were close to me and on my side
