I had it about 10 years ago and now im noticing my near and far sightness is getting worse. I've started wearing readers but now my night vision is not as good.
I have an apt next week...just wondering if another surgery is on the table as an option
LASEK is different than LASIK

I have superior genetics, and therefore don't need that shite.
You should have been culled from the herd.

I always thought you could only have it once? I had lasik done 10 years ago as well and so far still holding strong, but would be good to know if that's an option down the road.

My uncle did, but it was in a relatively short period of time. I'm unfamiliar with what exactly you are supposed to do, but he didn't follow proper procedures afterwards (he didn't use the drops, didn't stay in a dark room, went outside and cut the grass). He ended up in some sever pain and having to have the procedure done again. This was about 10 years ago, he seems ok

Hell I don't even know the difference. Maybe I had LASIK? Maybe I had LASEK? Who knows.

I've had it done at least once a year for the past ten years.

It doesn't seem likely you would be able to, especially if your cornea wasn't that thick to begin with. I worked on some LASIK gone wrong cases one summer clerking in law school, and I've been too afraid to do it myself since then
