My cat is 16 and obviously a little slower than his glory days. He and I are already very close but I can tell how much happier he is to have me home more. He sits at my feet on the patio while I work from home.
I know he’s approaching the end of his life (early stages of renal failure) so this extra time with him is one of the positives I can pull from this debacle.

I used to feel bad thinking my dog missed us so much during the day. Now I realize he just sleeps all day.

I lost my dog at the beginning of the quarantine:( Such a great dog. Couldn’t beat pneumonia he developed after chemo.
So then I decided it was a good time to get another dog. Now enjoying my new dog—little ankle biter I named Banjo.
