No. I used my mother’s for high school (she and I went to the same school) and I didn’t get one for college

I think mine is still at Cane River pawn shop since 2004. Haven’t missed it once.

I bought 2 college rings. The first flew off my finger while riding in Orpheus. Someone got a nice throw. Decided to upgrade and got a bigger rock on the second one.

Was in a meeting with a TAMU grad yesterday. Early to mid 50’s. He asked where I was from and I said “originally from Baton Rouge, but New Orleans now.” He lifted his fist and put his knuckles in front of me and said “A&M grad.” He was wearing his ring. He was also wearing a fraternity T-Shirt. All around just very douchey.

Never got a college one. High school one is in a box some where. No idea.

I used my dad’s high school ring (for the 2-3 weeks I actually wore it) which I thought was pretty cool.

This. When I graduated LSU the first time, my parents said as a gift, they would get me a class ring or a new set of golf clubs. It took exactly a half of one second to go for the golf clubs. Turned out to be a great decision. I used the clubs for about 7 years til I got a new set, whereas the ring would have sat in a drawer getting no use at all.

I still have my high school ring. I haven't worn it since high school. Didn't bother with a college ring. I do have an uncle that wears his 1970's Morgan City High School ring every dang day. It is SO weird.
