My pit bull likes it warm, too

But I do have a box fan and a ceiling fan going.

Box fan stays on for soothing background noise

Your capacitor is out. I've had to change mine twice. Simple cheap fix.

ETA: Outside unit.

We replaced the entire interior unit in the attic in January before our house flooded in August (2016).

Yep my ac has crapped out on me a handful of times in the past few months no matter what I’ve paid the AC repairmen to come out and fix. It’s the damn Freon all leaked out every damn time.

Not going to get any better until you get an AC man out to refill you

Isn't that a closed system? Sounds like they aren't fixing the actual problem.

We're running our AC here in SC too. It's been a warm January.

It’s not the heat that gets ya, it’s the humidity.

And the heat.
