No. It's because my last name starts with a W.. It's pretty common for anyone who has a last name that starts with a W to be referred to as the first letter in their first name and "dub" for W.

Why is “Chris” in parenthesis?

IF they were ( ), it would be parentheses.
They were " "... quotation marks.
Can't make it up.

Okay, well it happens from time to time. I know a few people off the top of my head whose last name starts with a W and people refer to them as explained in my previous post.
So while it might not be common, it does happen.

I probably know them and no people don’t call them that.

OweO was one of those kids in school who gave himself a nickname to try and sound cool.

I gotcha. Like George Walker Bush?
They used to call him Gdub on The Hill back in the day.

How bad did you lose the runoff?
The numbers pretty much match up perfect. If you look at it by the numbers, if you add up my percentage of votes and the percentage of the person who finished 3rd, it pretty much shows that I kept all of my voters, gained all of his voters and the other candidates voters voted for the other person.
The guy with 10% and the guy with 14% were the two oldest candidates (late 60s, maybe early 70s),
From what I understood at the time, both of them thought they would have won if I had not been in the race. I loved going talk to them the day after the election to ask for their support in the runoff, I was informed I would likely not have it.. And they were both uncomfortable when I went talk with them because I could tell they both wanted to tell me to go frick myself, but I took the whole "kill them with kindness" approach.. And it was almost as if it killed them that I did so..

You know Erik right? Do you know what one of his brothers is known as?

I only know him through local football.

so you admit youve tried to kill old people
was that part of your platform
not very smart since old people tend to vote, a plan on killing them would not garner support
no wonder you lost

Don't get pissy with me. It's accurate. Sorry it doesn't fit with the dog pile.

Actually that's what my barber had always called me. And people who were ever in the barber shop when I would go.. If they didn't know me before then they would call me that because that is what I would be referred to and it just went from there.
I have many text in which someone refers to me as "cdub" (especially in group text). At any time I can post a bunch of pics of some of those text in which multiple people refer to me as cdub.. but I am not about to put all of that together tonight.
