I don't know about all out cancelled but postponed/moved i'm going with yes. This thing isn't even going to be past Houston by Thursday if the Euro is right.

I'd say low chance of cancellation but possibly location change.

The Euro rainfall totals are astronomical:
49.9" through 114 hours near Rockport.

If it's still raining in Houston on Thursday, I think it's cancelled/rescheduled.
I've always assumed the storm would have moved out by Tuesday PM, and was adamant they would play if that was the case. The new models the guys are posting make me think otherwise.
It took 2 full days to drain enough to gain access to NRG and med center during the memorial day flood.

quote:navy plane just got into the storm doing ne/sw path.. found 98kt sfmr winds. that's cat 3 sfmr winds...so if NHC was waiting for that, they have it.
This plane isn't even doing a ne/sw path. it's not going to hit the strongest winds. this east-west pass is not going to verify cat 3 winds.

Looking better for southeast Louisiana today although i will continue to monitor Harvey since it's gonna be close for a while and you can never tell what might happen since it's still far out in time.

This shite is a little much for me.
The person who is going to stay isn't reading the tweets from Texas Storm Chasers, and sure as hell isn't writing their name on the their arm.
