Entirely my fault, but I read "veterinarian" at first. I guess it was because of the first part of your post.

Imagine if a person were in the armed services, the became a veterinarian and did that for many years..a veteran veteran veterinarian...
It's just crazy.

Yes.

Donate your body to science or cremation.

Yea, Dourden.

Just think we need to rethink this practice.

Kinda, yeah,

Unless you don’t embalm and just bury in the ground with no coffin.

That’s ridiculous. Hard Rock/construction company should have to pay whatever it takes to recover the bodies.

Do You really want to risk the lives of people to rescue them?

Was it a cost-benefit kind of thing or what?

My comment was about the cost of more lives not about money

Those family’s of the men who died are going to be some very wealthy people at the end of this. Ben absolutely so poorly handled

They are going to have to have a 3rd part claim against another sub or designer. His employer, GC and Owner are all likely covered as a statutory employer. All they will get is a comp benefit from them which isn’t that much.

Completely agree. It’s unfortunate, but it just doesn’t make sense. Save is even too strong of a word IMO. There’s no saving, just possibly recovering.

I give it 20 years before the haunted tour companies start coming up with stories to add this place on the tour.

Risking lives for rescue is not the same as risking lives for recovery. If it was me or one of my family, and it is as unstable as they say, I wouldn't want anyone put in harms way for a dead body.

I wonder how many more unidentified illegal bodies are buried in that rubble that Mitch and Latoya know about?

They aren’t fooling anyone by trying to destroy the evidence

When it first collapsed there was a video of a worker alive and trapped with the steal beams laid over the top of him. Were they able to rescue him?
