Can you believe there are people out there who think we don't pay enough taxes. You're taxed on receiving and spending money, but somehow it's just not enough.

And if you make money investing what's left you're taxed on that too. Our tax policy is intentionally complicated so that people don't realize how much they truly are paying.

If there was one policy that I could change in this country, it would be that employers are no longer allowed to take income tax out of payroll checks.

Forcing people to write a big check 1-2 times a year would wake up Joe six pack.

Yes, I can. Because one half of the country has been successfully bribed with their own money.

I’d be fine with paying more taxes if I lived somewhere like Massachusetts. In Louisiana I pay way too much for what I get

Yep. The idea of withholding and then you “getting some of it back” (yay!) is a true travesty

Hell, I feel I’m owed all of it back watching Congress in action. It’s not worth it to me to send those absolute arse clowns my money.
