You prob kbow this, but to avoid confusion, I'm not talking about one of those vapes that people smoke flavored nicotine water from.
It's this little matte black rectangular shaped "thing" that's maybe 4" long by an inch wide and 3/4" thick.
It has a button you press I think after you load it and a 4 small led lights that change colors while it processes the bud and the lights all turn green when it's ready to hit.
On one end it has a little slit in it that you draw out of.
They are money out on the boat because you don't have to stop to smoke because you don't have to light it obviously.
A person wouldn't know what it was if they didn't know what it was.
I was sold after we took it out on the lake though.
I'm sure I could Google up an image if I wasn't a lazy pot head.

My SO videoed me all fricked up on a shitload of Ambien. I watched the video and never 'took' another.

The pens are usually hash oil. There's preloaded disposable cartridge, and refillable ones which you fill with a syringe. I have a refillable one that's filled with Durban Poison hash oil. Most are strain specific.
They do have vaporizer pens that use herb. But I've never tried one. And there's a ton of other products. Engineers like getting high too.
I personally prefer smoking herb, and vaping concentrates. My favorite is called a nectar collector or a honey straw.
You just heat up the nail tip, and dip it into a silicon or glass cup with your concentrate. I prefer it over a dab rig.

I specifically told my doctor NOT to give me ambien. I had a very large group of inmates that had blamed their problems on using ambien. Specifically stealing. I was too freaked out to try it. Especially since my husband's schedule was opposite of mine.

OK so I found some motivation and looked up the vaporizer I was talking about. It helped that it was the first site I checked.

He has the black one, which is probably the one I would get too so it draws less attention, but the platinum/silver one isn't bad. No desire for one of the colors, unless it was given to me.
I didn't realize they were $280, but since it's been 3 weeks since I've done any pills/dope by the time I order one I've probably saved (or not spent) 10x that.
Funny how you look at money differently when your priorities start to shift.

True. At one point I looked at things and could say that every bad thing that I had dealt with in a certain time frame (few years) was due to taking Ambien. That also played a part in me stopping. Which the fact that I wasn't addicted to them physically or mentally and just liked doing them to enhance other buzzes or blow off steam helped. Other than having trouble falling to sleep for 2-3 nights when they were gone, no real issues stopping. Which when you blow thru something in under 48 hours (usu less) you don't really have time to get addicted to it.
I didn't steal or anything like that. But they do lower inhibitions and cause you to make bad decisions. I've seen a lot of chicks over the years that would take some Xanax and then into cleptos. Same principle. Then when the Xanax wore off they were back to normal. Very weird.
