Some info for those who may not know:

Right about this time every year, Catholics study a different section of the Holy Bible. Mass is held every day, so, it takes about three years for the whole Bible to be read to the people at Mass.

Catholics have divided the Bible into three sections labeled A, B and C. We rotate from A to B to C every year.

We finished Year C and rotated back to Year A yesterday.

It's not really a "Catholic New Year" it's just a liturgical new year from Year C back to Year A.

Today is the 1st day of Advent, the leadup to Christmas and also the start of the new liturgical year in The Church. This year is Year "A", which focuses on the Matthew's Gospel and is the 1st year of our 3 year trek through the entire Bible. Merry Christmas, baws.

I see what’s going on here…

So how was the ACTS retreat?

Because mass is said every day. While the overwhelming vast majority of Catholics who attend service go either on Saturday or Sunday, there are still a fair number of devout Catholics who attend mass daily.
