Model Delores Erikson. She posed for the 1965 album cover of Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass' "Whipped Cream and Other Delights."....The Louisiana connection to the LP was the fact that New Orleans native Allen Toussaint wrote the title track, "Whipped Cream."

Spent many hours as a kid looking at that album cover.

I own that album. Inherited it from my grandma. I’ve never listened to it.

She looks good for 87.

My parents had that album. It gave me many impure thoughts.

You need to give it a spin. It's good stuff. I've got a whole shitload of Herb Alpert, Al Hirt, and Chuck Mangione albums from the 60s and 70s. Good stuff.

Also, music sounds better on vinyl. The reason is - when vinyl records were being produced, the music itself was simply better.

I thought the “whipped cream girl” was the hot chick in Friday Night Lights.

Happy Birthday Delores! And a thank you to all attractive young women who are willing to pose for photographic art, and thanks for reminding me to buy some whipped cream for upcoming photos.
