White Rabbit was the epic of female vocals. Wilson was pretty close to that level, not quite there but close.

Great line-up. Nazareth was like, “we are very happy to be here…”

Ann has a great rock and roll voice, neither of those two are hot, and Nancy can't shred, the dudes in that band took care of that, she's more like showing off her guitar recital presentation

IMHO, neither Nicks (way too nasal) nor Slick belong in the discussion.

Ann just sings on a different level. (FTR, I'm a much bigger fan of Ann Wilson's voice than Heart as a band.)

Their self-penned bio is a good vacation read. A 3 octave soprano is rare; especially the one Ann has...and kept in great shape...as recently as early 2020 it's still there. Nothing wrong with Stevie and Grace, but they are not Ann Wilson. I think Ann is classically the the better looking of the two, but Nancy was sweet thru the Cameron Crowe years. The free love of the 70's took its toll on Heart; Dog and Butterfly was their masterpiece. Capitol Records came calling years later with a blow dryer and pre written songs for the 1985 self-titled HEART, and I think it was very legit, but certainly not the Heart of albums 1-4. Roger Fisher was the 'heart' of that band, and without him, Desire Walks On (1993) is probably their best self-directed work post Dog and Butterfly.
