Happy 70th birthday to Nancy Wilson of Heart.....

Heart has long been a favorite of mine and even though I was in diapers when they were at their peak in the early 80's, their music still resonates today. Heart kicks arse. And Nancy was one of the pioneers of women rhythm guitar players. And she was sexy AF. The leg kick made her even moreso.

First person I ever fell in love with. Met her by chance when I was in 8th grade. Went to Nashville with my dad, had to stop by his office, which was across the street from the backside of Municipal Auditorium. I saw their tour bus and got curious. Nancy was the most beautiful woman this 14 yr old had ever seen.

Well when you're arguably the greatest female guitarist to ever live and your sister is the Queen of Rock and together they were part of one of the greatest rock bands ever it deserves some recognition.
