I never watched the show. Lived it but never watched.

I know it was difficult for my wife to adjust and probably took 3 years to get comfortable here. There were some emotional days and women in general tend to live more on emotions

I love Khortytsa or "Khor" vodka as it's been recently rebranded here. It's the only vodka I buy and keep stocked at the house. How popular is it over there?

I took Russian for a week in 9th grade (which was actually probably Ukrainian since the teacher was Ukrainian), but I quickly dropped that shite and went to German instead. frick learning a new alphabet. I was willing to try, but not when she said we had to know it within the first week.

Astute observation.

As a proper gopnik might say:

Heels to the sky, capitalist spy

Are you near Donbas? Really heartbreaking to see civilians (especially the children) enduring so much suffering and anguish. War is hell.

Glad to hear your wife's family is safe. At least for the time being. But five miles from the Russian border? I don't know.

The wife never heard of him. Google list a soccer (football) and a politician with that name.

She does have a cousin looking, but not exactly the best looking woman.

I don't know if I would trust any websites. I would think that if they are on a website looking for americans you run a high risk of gold diggers.

They are not exactly flirtatous and not many speak English. I would think it would hard to meet them by hanging out in Ukraine. Odessa might be a little easier because they are familiar with tourist. I have never been to Odessa but I saw a video on youtube asking if they like foreign men. The answer was usually yes. or Da.

All Ukrainians speak Russian since they were part of the soviet union. It is a difficult language to me, since all their words tend to be 3 syllables or more.
