Lot's of people from here have figured it out. I pay $25 to get a hair cut and get to set an appointment, deal with non trash, and get a bourbon or scotch when I walk in.
Where is this?

There are at least four in Nola. Aiden Gill started it all. I think Magazine Barber came next.
There are a few girls running small shops that do it.
I now go to Lakeview Barber. I don't get a rats arse about my hair, but people at the traditional places just annoy the fck out of me.
I went to some old school barber place in Old Metairie and I drew the bad card. Some old crazy fcking man sat me in his chair and didn't even use scissors. He just pulled out the clippers and started talking about how great he does a military style hair cut.

My neck does the same thing. I have them use a tiny guard and only shave with the grain when they hit the back of my neck.
A barber told me it was fungus from poorly cleaned grooming equipment. Dermatologist said it was ingrown hairs.
Having said all that, I don't recall getting a lot of medical advice from the ladies at Supercuts.

Bitches that cut hair believe they have the ability to solve all the world's problems. One snip at a time. They have odd piercings and multicoloured hair. Failed marriages and grand kids named Trayvon.
I would go to them before Immediate Med.

Go see the barber at Cedarcrest Barber Shop. They won't say anything about your zits but they will say a lot about black people.

You sound gross
I feel sorry for your 'hair dresser' having to touch your puss oozing mug. Hope you tip well.

He goes to Supercuts, you really think he tips?

I always forget that places like Supercuts probably attract the trash in the city or crappier areas. Up here, it's all middle class dads bringing their kids for a haircut.
We have a place called The Gent's Place where they do the whiskey and all that, but it's a far drive and I pass 3 of the walk in places on my drive home.

They deal with hair 24/7 so there may be some merit to what they have to say. Maybe she has a client with a similar condition?

They can't wait to tell you what they saw on the Facebook
