I was just on the border of Southlake in Colleyville and got pea size hail for about 2 minutes. Nothing like they got in Plano. Took a video but no idea how to post it on here.

Either I wasn’t paying close enough attention or that area was on the edge. I’m over on the other end by westlake and trophy club. That’s north TX weather for you I guess.

If that 12 or 13 year old boy in Sound of Music wasn't actually gay some of those songs had to really make him cringe.

Good time to bust out the differential reflectivity on the radarscope.

Match the gray colors with the heaviest normal radar returns to approximate hail core locations.

Low differential reflectivity (bottom right), low correlation coefficient (top right) under heaviest precip on normal reflectivity indicative of hail.

50, you're an EE right? You'd probably find how the dual-pol radar works interesting.

Yes duke I would like to learn more about that!!

So far the casualty count in the family the my GF mother car was hit hard.

I can’t imagine the amount of money that’s about to be paid off.

My RadarScope and storm apps were firing off every minute to the point where I had to turn off notifications.

This image just to show the idea.

Basic Explainer from NOAA

Im getting better at using it, but to me it's still we do magic to rotate the EM wave 90 degrees and now we can see hail and debris balls.

I am several miles south of there (Coit and toll rd)

Coit and Bush. Yall newbs need to learn how to identify roads better. "Toll Road" moniker is taken, and Coit doesn't cross it.

Oh I know it does. I was going to Putt-Putt before Bush was a money sign sparkle in developers eyes. But when someone says the "Toll Road" in DFW it's reffering stricklty to one specific toll road.
